Archer’s SEO Process – Our SEO Strategy

Step 1: Evaluation Phase – Getting to Know You

  • Initial consultation to learn about your objective, business model, products and services either by phone or meeting
  • Establishing your budget and expectations
  • Assessment of your business and its existing web site (if it has one)
  • Analysis of competition
  • Technical evaluation of how your website is seen by search engines
  • Keywords used and how they are ranked – Current website traffic and keywords which drive that traffic
  • Current page rank, age of domain and length of time domain is registered
  • Evaluation of inbound link popularity and internal linking
  • Any errors present in the site
  • Analysis of meta tags, h1 tags and content being viewed by Google and other search engines
  • Frequency in which content is added/updated
  • Assessment of current or past Search Engine Marketing campaign

Step 2: Proposal Phase – Your Proposal In Writing

  • Make a general proposal listing which elements of the campaign will be best suited for your business
  • Create a list of keywords which will be used in the campaign based on relevancy to the website and business strategy
  • Propose changes that are needed to the website in order to make it search engine friendly. (Internal Links, meta/h1 tags, header tags, incorporation of Site map, fixing errors, etc.)
  • Quantify opportunities to build inbound links through targeted websites, press releases and business organizations and directories
  • Determine whether a blog or content management system for frequent site updating would benefit
  • Social Media targeting, if relevant
  • Search engine marketing (pay per click / impression advertising) recommendation for Google, Yahoo and Facebook, if applicable.

Step 3: Implementation Phase – Deploying the Changes

  • Finalizing scope of work / making any adjustments to the proposal after customer review
  • Making the required changes and adding additional content to the website as agreed upon
  • Start process to identify and build relevant inbound links related to the website. Possible creation of press releases and relevant articles. Submission to industry accepted directories.
  • Define the process by which high quality content content will be added regularly to the website (blog, content management system, etc.)
  • Development of social media campaign to drive traffic and inbound links
  • Deployment of search engine marketing (pay per click) campaigns

Step 4: Review Phase – Quantifying Results

  • After a week an update will be generated to quantify the results so far
  • After a month a report will be generated detaining the additional links and traffic your campaign is generating
  • The effectiveness of the advertising campaigns will be evaluated to determine their ROI or effectiveness.
  • Results are review with the customer to get their feedback and answer their questions.

Step 5: Monthly Maintenance and Tweaking to Enhance Results

  • The effectiveness of the advertising campaigns are evaluated on a continual basis to enhance their ROI or effectiveness – a critical component of SEO
  • If you choose our monthly maintenance program, every month we will provide you with a detailed report showing the additional links and traffic your campaign is generating in comparison with the previous month.
  • Continual communication with the customer to review and agree on additional courses of action
